Headquartered in Moore County, NC since 1984, Prancing Horse provides equine-assisted services to their local communities.

The mission of Prancing Horse is to enhance the lives of individuals by providing a safe environment for therapeutic horsemanship.

Prancing Horse Inc. is a PATH Premier Accredited therapeutic riding center that provides a needed service to the Sandhills of North Carolina. They utilize horses to advance the wellbeing of individuals with disabilities. Their clients include both military non-military community members of all ages.

In addition to their expert staff and herd of horses, their volunteers are the life force of our program. They serve in our programs, help with events, serve on the Board of Directors and six standing committees.

US Equestrian Announces Four Finalists for Inaugural Heart Horse Award

Lexington, Ky. - The 2024 Heart Horse Award will be presented during the 2025 USEF Pegasus Awards Dinner on Thursday, January 23 in Lexington, Ky., as a part of the 2025 US Equestrian Annual Meeting . The Heart Horse Award finalists were selected from applications submitted by organizations in our Community Outreach Program. These horses work daily to help their communities. From helping an inner-city child through their first ride, to being a calming influence for those who need it most,
