Promise Landing Farm (PLF) is a creative engine and community in which people of all capabilities can gather and share a love for horses, in the process gaining a deeper understanding and kindness for themselves and others.
PLF strives to create an inclusive atmosphere open to riders of all abilities, where physical, emotional, and social needs can be met. We serve community members with disabilities, our nation’s veterans, military families, and first responders with the goal of meeting each rider’s physical, emotional, and/or social needs.
PLF finds that lessons on horseback are extremely beneficial for students working on skills including assertiveness, emotional awareness, empathy, stress tolerance, problem-solving, self-actualization, independence, self-esteem, social responsibility, interpersonal relationships, body awareness, balance, and muscle tone. Additionally, PLF encourages our riders to participate throughout our facility, join social groups and clubs, and be active members of the community.
Promise Landing Farm is led by its Board of Directors, talented PATH-certified instructors, and dedicated volunteers.
