Bill Moroney
William (Bill) Moroney has served as Chief Executive Officer of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) since January of 2016. Under his leadership, USEF has implemented an ambitious Strategic Plan leading to significant growth in membership, horse and human safety and welfare initiatives including Safe Sport, greater promotion and awareness of equestrian sport and US Equestrian, sponsorship, member benefits and value, competitive excellence, athlete and horse development, governance, and sport regulation.
Moroney spent over 38 years in the sport of hunters and jumpers as an owner, trainer, rider and clinician, and 21 years as a Federation licensed official. He has over 20 years of experience in the governance of equestrian sport, serving as a member or chair of several USEF committees and as the founding president of the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), the largest Affiliate of the USEF.
