Area Declarations:
Athletes interested in participating in the Championships MUST complete a USEF Area Declaration by May 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The USEF Area Declaration can be submitted in your USEF Athlete Dashboard with an application fee of $75.00.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements (MERS):
The Qualifying Period for the Championships is January 1, 2024, through May 25, 2025. In addition to completing the USEF and FEI Minimum Eligibility Requirements (MERs):
- CCI3*-S Athlete/Horse combinations must obtain an MER at a CCI3*-S within the qualifying period.
- CCI2*-S Athlete/Horse combinations must obtain an MER at a CCI2*-S within the qualifying period.
- Athletes participating in the CCI1* do not have any additional qualifications.
Athlete Age Requirements:
- Athletes wishing to compete in the USEF Eventing Young Rider Championships CCI3*-S must have been born on or between January 1, 2000, and December 31, 2009.
- Athletes wishing to compete in USEF Eventing Young Rider Championships CCI2*-S must have been born on or between January 1, 2004, and December 31, 2011.
- Athletes wishing to compete in the USEF Eventing Young Rider Championships CCI1*-Intro must have been born on or between January 1, 2007, and December 31, 2011.
2025 Important Dates:
- Area Declarations Close: May 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. EST
- Entries Open: May 13, 2025
- Nominated Entries Due to USEF: June 2, 2023
- Entries Close: TBD
- Championship Definite Entries Due to USEF: June 23, 2025
- Declarations of Starters (following the Horse Inspection): June 27, 2025

Don't forget to submit your FEI Entry through your USEF Athlete Dashboard as well as your entry directly to the competition. When entering the competition, make sure to designate that you plan to participate in YRC and which Area you are with.
