Tom McCutcheon owns Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses, Inc., one of the premier reining training, breeding, and rehabilitation facilities in the United States. McCutcheon is one of the reining industry's leading riders, with lifetime earnings exceeding $1.6 million. His accolades include an NRBC Open Championship, NRBC Reserve Championship, two National Reining Horse Association Derby Reserve Championships, multiple NCRHA Open Futurity Championships and multiple NRHA Futurity Finalist. McCutcheon was named the USEF Equestrian of the Year in 2010. In March, McCutcheon finished fifth at the FEI CRI 3* competition hosted at Tryon International Equestrian Center, which also served as the selection trial for the U.S. Reining Team for the WEG. McCutcheon has deep roots in the reining industry. He is married to world-class reiner and fellow WEG gold medalist Mandy MCutcheon. Joining McCutcheon on the WEG team this year is his son, Cade McCutcheon.
