Filing a Repeat MPA Disclosure Form Online Just Got Easier!

New autofill feature speeds MPA disclosure filing

by US Equestrian Communications Department | Nov 14, 2017, 4:13 PM

Effective Sept. 1, 2017, the United States Equestrian Federation requires the reporting of medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) administration within 90 days before a USEF-licensed competition, and a new form must be filed with each subsequent MPA administration.

The electronic MPA Disclosure Form is the fastest, easiest way to file. And if you have repeat administrations to report, that process just got even easier, thanks to a new autofill feature that automatically adds your horse’s information, leaving only the most recent dose, date, and time for you to fill in. Here’s how it works:

1. File your first MPA disclosure report for a horse.

Use the online MDA Disclosure Form. If your horse or pony is USEF-registered, under “Identification of Horse/Pony” you can type in his or her Horse ID and the required information (horse name, owner, trainer, etc.) will autofill. If your horse does not have a Horse ID, you can still fill in the information for owner, trainer, etc., yourself.

2. Check your email.

After you fill in the MPA Disclosure Form, click the “Create” button at the bottom of the form. You will then receive a confirmation notice via email from the USEF; the horse’s name will appear in the subject line. This will make it easier for you to filter your email files using the horse’s name the next time you need to report an MPA administration for the same horse.

3. Click the “online form” link in that email next time you submit a disclosure form.

The next time you need to report MPA administration for the same horse, simply click the “online form” link at bottom of the email. That link will take you directly to the online MPA Disclosure Form, where you’ll find your horse’s information autofilled. All you have to do is fill in the MPA amount, source, strength, and administration date/time.

Be sure to double-check that information in such fields as competitions, veterinarian, and show information are up to date, and then click the “Add” button.
