Lexington, KY
- This weekend, FEI vaulting competition hits the United States’ East Coast. The inaugural CVI Lexington in Lexington, VA on Friday will be the first ever FEI vaulting competition held in an Atlantic coast state.

“For many of our vaulters, longuers, and horses this is their first FEI event,” says CVI Lexington assistant manager Kim Beisecker. “The CVI1* was organized to educate East Coast vaulters on the requirements, regulations, and excitement of competing at an FEI level event.”

CVI Lexington will be a CVI1* competition held in conjunction with the Region IX vaulting championships. It will be held at the Virginia Horse Center, located in Virginia’s beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and will include 31 vaulters (from 12 U.S. states and Russia) performing child, junior, senior, and Pas de Deux CVI1* tests. All phases of CVI competition, three rounds of individual tests and two rounds of Pas de Deux, will be held on Friday, June 28th beginning with individual compulsories at 9:30am ET.
