Another Good Day for Laura Chapot in Lake Placid

Chapot rode Bradberry to victory in the High Peaks Resort 1.40 meter speed class and then followed that up with a win on Umberto in the WPTZ News Channel 5 1.30 meter class.
In the 1.40 meter class, Chapot completed the 11-jump, one-round course fault-free in 45.765 seconds to claim the win over Todd Minikus of Loxahatchee, FL who finished in 46.331 seconds on Tuxedo. In the 1.30 meter class, she topped of field of 54 horses by covering the 12-jump course fault-free in 56.202 seconds. Minikus again placed second, finishing in 56.701 seconds on Romeo.
The Lake Placid and I Love New York Horse Shows host all levels of competition ranging from young children on ponies to grand prix competitors and Olympic medalists, all competing for over $535,000 in prizes. The horse show begins at 8:00 am each day, with competition running in four rings simultaneously.
