Kent Farrington wins The JLT Dublin Stakes Saturday at CSIO5* Dublin

- Coming off of their third place team performance at in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Friday at the Dublin Horse Show, five U.S. horses and riders competed in the JLT Dublin Stakes, a 1.50m Table A with jump-off. Three of them, Kent Farrington, McLain Ward, and Beezie Madden were clear through round one and returned for the jump-off. Of the three, Kent Farrington (Wellington, FL) was the only one to keep all the rails up through both rounds, and he did so in magnificent fashion on the way to vicrtory with Robin Parsky's Blue Angel.

Finishing clear in 37.47, Farrington and Blue Angel were more than two seconds faster than the second place team of Shane Breen and Balloon. Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Malou were 3rd.

Madden (Casenovia, NY) with Abigail Wexner’s Amadora and Ward (Brewster, NY) with Procedures, INC’s Cadence each took eight faults in the jump-off and finished in 13th and 12th respectively.

Also representing the U.S. were Katie Dinan (Wellington, FL) and Grant Road Partner’s LLC’s Glory Days, finishing in seventeenth, and Reed Kessler (Lexington, KY) with her own Ligist finishing in thirty-fourth.
