Lots of Top Finishes by Americans Friday and Saturday in Valkenswaard

Valkenswaard, Germany - CSI Valkenswaard has been kind to U.S. riders over the last two days. Eight classes have seen Americans atop the leaderboard and they've been near the top in others. Below is a quick breakdown of CSI2* and CSI1* classes with links to full results.

CSI1*

Friday

Alexandra Crown started things well for the U.S contingent with a win in the Special Invitational against the clock. She and her own Quadrant finished first, Alexandra Cherubini and Lovelite LLC's Equifit Carlos finished 3rd. Full results with video.

A Special 1.10m Invitational in the sand arena saw a top three sweep by Americans. Lea Allen won it with The Allen Farm's Komedie de Montsec and took 3rd with The Allen Farm's Ginger 729. Dorothy Cox was 2nd with M. Jean-Louis Pinon's Nobody. Full results.

Saturday

Dorothy Co won Saturday's first CSI1* competition, a 1.35m speed class with Lag Syndicate LLC's Joy Ride. Elizabeth Patz was 4th with Doublethink LLC's Rolls. Full results with video.

The 1.15m speed class was won by Cherubini and Equifit Carlos. Dorothy Cox finished 3rd with Nobody and Lea Allen was 9th with Ginger 729. Full results with video.

CSI2*

Friday

Abigail McArdle took on the field in 1.35m Small Tour speed competition with David McArdle's Cosma 20 and earned another U.S. win. She was more than 2s faster than the next closest clear round. Americans Chloe Reid, Meagan Nusz, and Leah de Martini also finished in the top 10. Full results with video.

Abigail also finished well in the Medium tour competition, taking 3rd with Old Barrington, LLC's Bravoman. Full results with video.

In the Big Tour competition, a 1.45m Table A with jump-off, it was Meagun Nusz that topped the leaderboard with Amalaya Investments' Waomi. Katie Monahan-Prudent finished 7th with Michael Smith's Z. Full results with video.

Saturday

In Small Tour competition on Saturday, Chloe Reid and Chloe D Reid, LLC's Damascus finished 3rd. Full results.

Abigail McArdle moved up to Medium Tour competition with Cosma 20 on Saturday and the result was the same, a decisive win. Full results.

The feature class of the day went to Nicholas Dello Joio and EM Horses' Carlos V.H.P.Z. They were fairly dominant in the Big Tour speed class. A more detailed write up of this class is available here. Full results with video.
