Legendary Dressage Freestylist and Olympian Robert Dover to Conduct Seminar at Kentucky Horse Park

Robert Dover, six-time Olympian and legendary grand prix freestylist, will lead the 2006 Kentucky Horse Park All-American Freestyle Symposium on April 21-23 at the park in Lexington, KY. In addition to Dover’s expertise, panelists will include freestyle design specialists Marlene Whitaker and Terry Ciatto-Gallo, along with international dressage judge Colonel Axel Steiner, who will explore the artistic marks of the freestyle tests through the levels.

The symposium will also include a trade show, horse farm tours and a number of other outstanding events.The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) will hold its Judges’ Forum April 19-21, which is by invitation only.

Internationally-renowned Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital will hold a lecture series on the Care of the Dressage Horse for Maximum Performance on April 21 from 2-4 p.m., with keynote speaker Dr. Hilary Clayton. Cost is $15.

The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) will hold its USDF National Education Center ribbon-cutting and opening reception on April 21 from 4:30-6:30 pm at the park.

A special evening gala freestyle performance, choreographed with a live performance by the Lexington Philharmonic, EQUUS…Rhythm of the Dance II, on April 22 at 6 p.m. will include a magnificent gourmet meal.
