Gloucestershire based American eventer Clark Montgomery are leading the CCI3* divisions after the first day of dressage at the Fidelity Blenheim Palace Horse Trials. Competition started Thursday at the impressive palace's grounds near Oxford in England.

Montgomery scored 42.7 with Jessica Montgomery, Kathryn Kraft, and Holly and William Becker’s Loughlan Glen and leads by 0.4 points over Jean teulere of France. Britain's Charlotte Agnew is the leading home rider in 3rd.
