The South Carolina equestrian team wasn’t just dominant at Fresno State on Friday, it was record setting.  The Gamecock western team won 9-1, and their hunter seat team won 8-2. The resulting 17-3 win means that South Carolina has now scored 32 points over two matches, and improved to 2-0 after winning at Kansas State to open the NCEA Season last week. Those 32 points breaks a team two-meet scoring record (31) set during the 2009-2010 season.

"I thought we rode extremely well today and I am very impressed with everybody," South Carolina head coach Boo Major told www.gamecocksonline.com. "After last week's win, we challenged the girls to have a productive week at practice and to ride even better this week. We had a great week of practice, and it showed in the arena today."

The Gamecocks will look to continue their hot streak next weekend in Delaware against Delaware State and undefeated Southern Methodist.
