Olympians Battle for Palm Beach Toyota’s $25,000 Grand Prix Prize at Littlewood

Federico Sztyrle on Fatalis Fatum edged out Margie Engle by less than a half second to win the Palm Beach Toyota’s $25,000 Grand Prix at Littlewood on January 22, 2006. Engle came in second place riding Canaille and third riding Hidden Creek’s Charlie Brown. Fourth went to Andres Rodriguez on Indien D’ Adriers.

The spectators enjoyed the complimentary buffet with wine and beer provided by Palm Beach Toyota. The crowd filled the tent with every table and chair occupied and spilled out surrounding the grand prix ring with standing room only. The weather was warm, breezy and perfect for the Sunday afternoon event.

Other jumper champions of the Littlewood show include winner of the Dutta $5,000 High Junior/Amateur Owner jumper stake class Alexandra Arute riding Blast, owned by Scott Stewart; and Nicolas Schuebach won the Dutta $5,000 Low Junior/Amateur Owner stake class on Shandon Bell. Aviel Kanter won the $1,500 Tackeria NAL Child/Adult jumper classic riding Synchronicity. Allyson Blais won the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search on Tore Moor. Hunter champions include First Year Green Hunter winner Georgetown, owned by Lindsey George, and Amateur Owner 18-35 champion North Country owned by Avery Dimmig.
