Vanlandingham & Visser Tie at Ardmore CRI in Final US Qualifying Reining

Sharing the top of the podium were Jason Vanlandingham of Whitesboro, Texas, who scored a 71 while showing Shiners Chic, owned by Rosanne Sternberg of Great Britain, as well as Josh Visser, also of Whitesboro riding his own Magnum With A Dream to a matching score.
Drake Johnson of Wray, CO rode his own Sonic Chic Dream to a score of 70, earning the bronze medal position.
In an international field of starters, the Ardmore, Oklahoma Concours de Reining featured athletes and owners from five nations, including Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Mexico and the host nation of the United States of America. Riders from all corners of the globe continue to earn invaluable qualifying points to meet minimum criteria to attend their national championships and the honor of representing their nation at the quadrennial FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG).
Additional riders at the Ardmore CRI who gained the requisite scores for US Reining Team Official Selection Trial advancement included: Todd Sommers, Jordan Larson and Rocky Dare. International riders included: Martin Larcombe and Hernando Jimenez.
