Tiana Coudray and Ringwood Magister (Mike McNally)
Coudray has chosen to withdraw Ringwood Magister from the 2014 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by Land Rover. The pair will instead contest the 2014 Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire, England, May 7-11.
Coudray, 25, has become a top U.S. rider on the international eventing scene in just a few years’ time. She first experienced international competition at the Adequan/FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships presented by Gotham North in 2004 and 2008, earning the Junior Individual Silver medal in 2004. As she rose through the ranks, Coudray achieved numerous top placings at CIC and CCI competitions, including wins at the Galway Downs International CIC3* and the Jersey Fresh International CCI3* with Ringwood Magister in 2010.
Since the summer of 2011 she has been based in Gloucestershire, England, to compete and train in Europe. That fall, she received second-place honors at the Fidelity Blenheim Horse Trials CCI3*. In 2012, Courday represented the U.S. in her first Olympic Games. She followed this achievement with a 17th-place finish in the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials CCI4* and a 10th-palce finish at the Aachen CICO3*in 2013 with Ringwood Magister.
