Adrienne Lyle and Wizard Accomplish Personal Record to Win AGDF 12 FEI Grand Prix CDI 5*

Wellington, Fla. - Adrienne Lyle (USA) and Wizard finished the first day of competition for the final week of the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) with a win in the FEI Grand Prix CDI 5* presented by Diamante Farms. The pair earned a personal best score for the grand prix with a 74.160%.

Lyle was also presented with the Champion Equine Insurance Dressage Style Award and a crystal horse from Swarovski for her win in the FEI Grand Prix 5* with Wizard, a 15-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by Peggy Thomas. Lyle will not compete in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle 5* on Friday, electing instead to contest the FEI Grand Prix Special 5* in preparation for the 2014 U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions presented by The Dutta Corp/Selection Trial for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

Tina Konyot and Shelley Francis also finished strong for the USA. Tina Konyot and her own Calecto V, a 16-year-old Danish Warmblood stallion, earned second place with a score of 73.720%, while Shelley Francis rand Doktor, and 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by Patricia Stempel, came in fourth with a score of 72.520%.
