Antwerp, Belgium – A good weekend for U.S. jumpers in Belgium got even better on Sunday when Americans won big CSI2* and CSI4* classes at CSI Antwerp.

First, it was Carly Anthony (Redmond, Wash.) jumping clear over two rounds with Artisan Farm’s Rosana du Park. The University of Georgia Equestrian Team alum was one of only two competitors able to finish the jump-off with no faults, and her time of 37.88 was well ahead of runners up Viktor Daem of Begium & Epsom Lady.

Then it was Texan Megan Nusz’s (The Woodlands, Texas) turn for a big win. Over two phases at 1.45m Megan & Vesuvius jumped clear. The second round of the competition was a speed round, and they flew to a 26.10 time, just .04s faster than their closest competition Wilm Vermier & Gentiane de la Pomme.

Also finishing in the money in that CSI4* class were American’s Caitlin Ziegler & Eurocommerce Nevada.

The biggest American win in Antwerp came on Saturday, when McLain Ward & Rothchild won the first Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of the 2014 season.
