The U.S. enjoyed a succesful week jumping at CSIO4* Coapexpan (USEF Archive)
Finishing in third place for the United States was Jon McCrea (East Windsor, Conn.) and Candy Tribble’s Special Lux. The 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding produced a fault free trip in round one and returned with a four fault effort in round two to stop the timers in 44.60 seconds.
Sarah Segal (Flemington, N.J) and Robert Segal’s 13-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding Ramses jumped a four fault effort in round one and produced a clear in the second round to earn a fourth place finish after finishing with a four fault total after two rounds in a time of 44.66.
Rounding out the U.S. effort on Sunday was Jon’s wife, Christine McCrea (East Windsor, N.Y.) and Candy Tribble and Windsor Show Stables’ 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare Zerly who produce an eight faults in round one and four faults in round two to finish on twelve faults in 44.84 seconds to in 13th place.
