Judges and Training Symposium Features Steffen Peters and Janet Brown Foy

by By Janet Foy | Mar 2, 2006, 12:53 PM

The judges and trainers symposium, featuring Steffen Peters and Janet Brown Foy, has attracted excellent demo riders and horses. The seminar is scheduled April 8-9, 2006, at Penrose Norris Equestrian Center in Colorado Springs, CO.

Horses from those just going under saddle to grand prix competitors have been chosen to give the audience a broad view of the levels and how the horse develops as an athlete. All USEF dressage tests will be covered, and movements will be scored and discussed by FEI "I" judge Foy. Improvement on the basics and training of the horses will then be the job of Olympic competitor and medalist, Steffen Peters.

Horse/rider combinations are coming from Minnesota, Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. Participants in the seminar are coming from Illinois, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Wyoming.

Don't miss this change to watch this pair explain how judges/trainers and riders must work together for a comman goal.
