Quentin Judge Wins First Big Class at CSIO Gijón

- American rider Quentin Judge won the first big class in the 2014 CSIO Gijón with HH Copin van de Broy on Thursday. Without penalties, the chronometer stopped at 49,55 seconds for Judge. The Venezuelan Andrés Rodriguez finished second (51,67 seconds) with Darlon van Groenhove. Meanwhile, Georgina Bloomberg and Juvina got the third position

5,137 spectators were present to witness this first class in Las Mestas. The class was judged by a five groups scale with 13 obstacles of 1,50 metres.

Quentin Judge was enthusiastic about his victory. "This is a very good horse show and all the riders feel the support from the crowd" he said.

Quentin has the 162th position in the world ranking. He was very grateful to his horse during the class. "He is such a master, he knows how and when to show his talent", said the winner.
