Arabian Pageantry at the Park

by By Cindy Rullman | Mar 16, 2006, 2:54 PM

What’s going to happen when 225 Arabian horses all arrive at the Kentucky Horse Park at the same time? The park will explode with beauty and pageantry during the Bluegrass Spring Festival and Bluegrass Classic Arabian Horse Show, March 31-April 2.

Horses from across the nation and Canada will compete in the first large horse show of the season at the park. This show, sponsored by the Kentucky Arabian Horse Association, will offer sweepstakes money for the first time at the local level.

The competition begins at 8 a.m. each day, and admittance is included with park admission.

Other Arabian shows of note at the park this summer include the prestigious Egyptian Event, June 5-10, and the Region 14 Silverama Arabian Championships, June 28-July 2.
