The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team's hope for a Team medal at WEG evaporated quickly today with the first two team combinations choosing to retire on course. Buck Davidson & Ballynoe Castle RM were in the very tough position of pathfinders, and were strong for most of the course "Reggie" was got tired toward the end and Buck decide to retire after refusals in the final water complex.



Phillip Dutton & Trading Aces also looked good for a while, but after trouble at fence 24 Phillip took the responisble route and decided to retire on course.

With two of four riders no longer competiting, the U.S. Team is no longer able to register three team scores, so they are out of medal contention.
