Lexington, Ky.
- Laura Linback of Long Grove, IL  has been named the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month for August.

Linback competes in the East Conference Amateur-Owner division of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series. Linback earned the award by winning Show Jumping Hall of Fame classes at the Traders Point Charity Horse Show in Zionsville, IN and at Equifest II in Wayne, IL, aboard her horse Attention Please.

"We would like to congratulate Laura Linback on being our Rider of the Month for August," said George Morris, President of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame. "Being named Rider of the Month is a fitting honor after her wins at Traders Point and Equifest II and we wish her continued success."

The Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series hosts separate divisions for junior and amateur-owner riders in two Conferences-the East Conference and the West Conference.  Series standings are used to help determine junior and amateur-owner entries for the National Horse Show and Las Vegas National Horse Show.

The Show Jumping Hall of Fame conducts the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series, held under Grand Prix rules and specifications. The Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series is designed to give amateur-owner and junior riders an opportunity to compete at higher levels and serves as a proving ground for many riders who aspire to someday represent the United States in international competition.
