Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month: Elizabeth Solomon, New Mexico State
• Posted a 2-0 record in Equitation Over Fences for the month of September, with both victories coming on the road.
• In her win against her opponent from then-No. 5 Kansas State, she achieved a new personal-best score of 86 and earned MVP honors.
Equitation On The Flat Rider of the Month: Henley Adkins, Kansas State
• Undefeated in Equitation On The Flat for September (3-0), while also claiming MVP honors for all three of her rides.
• Adkins scored her personal best (94) against NMSU on Sept. 25, and then bested that score the next day against SDSU with a score of 97, while also beating her opponent by 15 points.
• Against South Carolina, Adkins was the last rider of the day to compete and had the result of the meet hanging on her shoulders. Coming in clutch, she defeated her opponent by 11 points and helped the Wildcats to a 10-8 victory against the then-No. 2 team in the country.
Horsemanship Rider of the Month: Rachel Williams, Fresno State
• Charted a 2-0 record in Horsemanship in the month of September with both wins coming at the Willis Invitational in Waco, Texas.
• Averaged a score of 68.75, facing off with opponents from a pair of nationally ranked opponents.
• Helped her team to a win against nationally ranked SMU at the Willis Invitational.
Reining Rider of the Month: Taylor Brown, Fresno State
• Posted a perfect 3-0 record in Reining for the month of September with one MVP honor.
• Averaged a score of 68.7 and defeated her opponents by an average of 1.8 points.
• Helped her team to a 2-1 record at the Willis Invitational, including wins against SMU and UT-Martin.
• All three rides came away from home, including two against nationally ranked opponents.
• Garnered Fresno State’s only point in reining against SMU, which proved the difference-maker in the 7-6 victory.
