USEF Land Rover Competition Grant recipients Clark Montgomery (Wiltshire, UK) and Loughan Glen will use their valuable experience gained throughout their six-year partnership at the final stop of the 2014 FEI Nations Cup Eventing series. Montgomery and the 11-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding owned by Jessica Montgomery, Kathryn Kraft, and Holly and William Becker were third in the 2013 Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials CCI3*.

“It's only my second time coming to Boekelo, but even so it's quickly becoming one of my favorite events! The rider hospitality and attention to the sponsors is second to none,” Montgomery said. “Glen feels fantastic, so we are excited to get the competition started tomorrow.”

Sharon White (Summit Point, W.Va.) and Mary Ann Ghadban's 10-year-old Holsteiner mare Under Suspection have also received a USEF Land Rover Competition Grant to compete at Boekelo. The pair heads to The Netherlands on strong form having earned second place in the Richland Park CIC3*.

Tiana Coudray (Ojai, Calif.) and her own and Jatial Ltd's 12-year-old Warmblood gelding Kinnordy Rivaldo have been developing their partnership over the last two years. They most recently earned a 12th-place finish in the Ballindenisk CIC3* in September.

Elisabeth Halliday-Sharp (East Sussex, UK) and Fernhill by Night, Deborah Halliday's 11-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding, keep improving each time out in 2014. They come into this weekend on top form, having just finished second in the Ballindenisk CIC3*.

Coudray leads off for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team, heading down centerline at 9:35am local time on Thursday, followed by Halliday-Sharp and Fernhill by Night at 1:42pm. On Friday, Montgomery performs his dressage test at 11:27am, with White rounding out the U.S. effort at 3:41pm.
