All riders will contest the Preliminary round in front of the judging panel of Cynthia Hankins and Candice King, with the top 20-25 riders coming back for further testing to determine this year’s champion.
The 2014 field boasts many of the top juniors from throughout the United States, including last year’s Reserve Champion Michael Hughes (Allendale, N.J.), who will look to go one spot higher on the leaderboard in 2014. Caitlin Boyle (Hampshire, Ill.) was third last week at the Platinum Performance/USEF Talent Search Finals East and will look to push Hughes all the way as she bids to capture the biggest win of her Junior career. Additionally, Daisy Farish looks to celebrate her 14th birthday with win in the prestigious class and comes to Harrisburg on strong form after finishing fifth last week in Gladstone.
