Angela Moore and Land Baron 4 Win Palm Beach Toyota’s $25,000 Grand Prix at Littlewood

Angela Moore and Land Baron 4 won Palm Beach Toyota’s $25,000 Grand Prix at Littlewood on April 9, 2006. Moore was the last to go in the jump-off, and she and Land Baron 4 were the fastest at 37.675 seconds with a double clear. Frankie Chesler-Ortiz and Ranville came in second with a time of 43.288 seconds and no faults. Bert Mutch and All Star were fast in the jump-off with 38.326 seconds, but downed a rail and ended in third. Pablo Gamboa with Findus had one rail and finished fourth.

The awards were presented by actor George Hamilton, recently of Dancing with the Stars, and Danny Damos of Palm Beach Toyota. Moore said of her 15-year-old Holsteiner, “He is fabulous! We just bought him in November. I wanted to go fast in the jump-off. I trusted him. I let him work things out and knew he would fight for it.”

The $20,000 Child/Adult Grand Prix was won by Heather Timm on Manuela Del Juncal. The Dutta Corporation’s $5,000 Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper Stakes class was won by Bruce Eckert riding Kool Shoes. Holly Cerasano and Koko won the $1,500 Marshall and Sterling Child/Adult Jumper Classic.

Samantha Senft had a victorious weekend. She and Seal Harbor won the $1,500 NAL Child/Adult jumper classic. She also won the Pessoa/USEF Hunter Seat Medal, the ASPCA Maclay and the WIHS Overall.

Haley Constaza’s Caught You Looking, ridden by Victoria Colvin, won the $500 Aviation Plus Pony Hunter Classic. Julie Burton and Charleston won the Buxton Equine Insurance NAL Hunter Classic. Grace De La Gueronniere and Providence won the Equestrian Properties Marshall and Sterling Adult Hunter Classic.
