Lexington, Ky. - The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has named eight athlete-and-horse combinations to the 2015 Dressage Pan American Games European CDI Observation Event Squad. The squad is composed of four Big Tour and four Small Tour combinations, which will compete in designated European CDI Observation Events. Additionally, Laura Graves and her own 2002 Dutch Warmblood gelding, Verdades, have been approved to be considered for the Pan American Games Dressage Team without competing in the European Observation Events per the Dressage Selection Procedures for the 2015 Pan American Games under the following provision:

An athlete named to compete at the European CDI Observation Event Squad may request special consideration for selection without competing in the Observation Events by submitting a written request prior to or during the European CDI Observation Events to the Selectors who will approve or disapprove the request based on these factors: 1. An athlete/horse combination that has demonstrated proven ability to succeed at CDI competitions (See definition on page 15). 2. Previous international experience of the athlete and/or horse.
