Brown completes Dressage at Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event with his two USEF Land Rover Competition Grant Recipients

– The first day of competition at the  Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event, kicked off Thursday with CCI3* and CCI2* competitors performing their dressage tests. With the first two-thirds of the three star field having completed their test Lauren Kieffer and Meadowbrook’s Scarlett hold the first day lead on a score of 42.0, while Michael Pollard and Cyrano lead the field of 40 in the two-star.

Matt Brown (Petaluma, Calif.) went down centerline on his two USEF Land Rover Competition Grant recipients, Happenstance and Super Socks BCF standing in sixth and 16th, respectively. Mary McKee’s 2006 Holsteiner gelding, Happenstance, earned a mark of 47.7 in his first CCI3* appearance. Brown and the Blossom Creek Foundation’s 2006 Irish Sport Horse gelding, Super Socks BCF, were the first three star combination of the day, scoring 57.9.
