Allentown, N.J. – Competition at the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event continued Saturday with CCI3* and CCI2* competitors taking on the cross-country course. Buck Davidson and Carl and Cassandra Segal’s Ballynoe Castle RM remained in the lead on a score of 41.60 in three-star competition, while Michael Pollard and Cyrano Z lead the field with 36.9 in the two-star.

Matt Brown (Petaluma, Calif.) and Mary McKee’s 2006 Holsteiner gelding, Happenstance, finished the cross-country course double clear and well under the optimum time, giving them a score of 47.7 to move up to fifth place after two phases. Happenstance is a USEF Land Rover Competition Grant recipient competing in his first CCI3*. Brown withdrew Blossom Creek Foundation’s 2006 Irish Sport Horse gelding, Super Socks BCF, before the second phase of competition.
