Windsor, Great Britain – Chester Weber made quite a statement at his first competition abroad in 2015, earning an impressive victory in the CAI3*-H4 World Cup Qualifier at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. In his usual fashion, Weber had a wonderful dressage test, winning the phase with a score of 36.22. He had a solid performance in the marathon phase, completing the first two phases of the competition with a score of 137.43. Heading into the final phase of competition, Weber sat in second place and was just 5.22 penalty points behind the overnight leader, Boyd Exell (AUS). Weber drove a fantastic cones course, recording the second-fastest round of the day and collecting only 0.18 penalty points. Ultimately, Weber’s score of 137.61 put him atop the overall leaderboard and allowed him to defend his win at the prestigious Royal Windsor Horse Show from the year prior.
