AHA’s partnership with Markel was re-kindled in 2014, when the company sponsored a Youth Scholarship at the 2014 Arabian & Half-Arabian Youth National Championship Horse Show. The Highpoint Scholarship awarded the versatility and teamwork that occurs between an Arabian/HA/AA and its youth rider. This was awarded to the horse and rider who together competed in three areas to qualify: showmanship, equitation and under saddle.

Markel’s partnership includes designated support for specific events, such as the AHA Judges & Stewards School and Distance Nationals, in addition to the national shows and other AHA endeavors.
