U.S. Dressage Builds on Performances at Hagen and Rotterdam

Rotterdam, The Netherlands & Hagen, Germany - United States dressage athletes continued to fare well in CDI3*, CDIU25, and CDIOY competition today at both Rotterdam in The Netherlands and Hagen in Germany. At Rotterdam, Shelly Francis and Patricia Stempel's Danilo received a score of 70.480% to garner eighth place in the CDI3* Grand Prix.  Also in contention were Brian Hafner on Rebecca Hafner and his own Lombardo LHF, who placed in eleventh on a score of 66.229%, and Arlene Page and her own Alina, who were eighteenth on a score of 66.060%. The Grand Prix Special and Freestyle for both the CDI3* and CDIO5* will take place tomorrow.

CDIU25 athletes Chase Hickok and Genay Vaughn improved on yesterday's scores. Hickok and Hyperion Farm’s Sagacious HF earned eighth place on a score of 68.875%. Vaughn rode Starr Vaughn Equestrian’s Donarweiss GGF to tenth place on a score of 67.475%.

At Hagen, CDIOY athletes Ayden Uhlir and Catherine Chamberlain had solid performances.  Uhlir and her own Sjapoer improved on yesterday's score to earn a 67.456% and twelfth place. Chamberlain and Kimberly Pribble's Avesto Van Weltvreden presented well to receive a score of 65.789% and nineteenth place. Uhlir will move forward to Individual Final Freestyle and Chamberlain to the Small Final Freestyle, both on Sunday.
