by By Louise Parkes, FEI, and USEF News | May 18, 2006, 12:55 PM

The Swiss team will be first into the ring when the second leg of the 2006 Samsung Super League with FEI series gets underway tomorrow at 1:15 p.m. local time in Aachen, Germany.

The ORDER OF GO tomorrow is as follows:
1. Switzerland; 2, The Netherlands; 3, Great Britain; 4, USA, 5, Germany; 6, France; 7, Ireland; 8, Sweden.

The U.S got off to a good start today as Margie Engle on Hidden Creek's Perin won the Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia with no faults in a time of 75.26. Jeffrey Welles of the United States was fourth on Armani, owned by Kimmel-Yeager Equine, LLC, and Triton Ventures, with no faults and a time of 77.32.

Despite torrential rain yesterday (Wednesday) the new surface in the main arena was in perfect condition again today, and horses and riders can look forward to perfect going once more tomorrow. The world-famous Aachen main ring looks considerably different this year however because the old banks have been removed and a brand new sand arena has been located in the centre. It is here that the Dressage will take place during the World Equestrian Games in three months time.

Meanwhile riders have an extra incentive throughout this 2006 Samsung Super League with FEI series because good results will be rewarded with a prize of CHF 50,000 going to the Leading Rider. Every clear round will earn 1 point, while double-clear performances will earn 3 points and, in the case of a tie, the highest number of double-clears will decide the winner. If more than one rider still shares the lead then the highest number of points with the lowest number of starts will be the deciding factor.
