U.S.Dressage Teams Conclude Performances at CDIO5* Falsterbo and CDIO5* Hagen

Lexington, Ky. - The U.S. Dressage Teams in Sweden and Germany brought their weekends to a close at CDIO5* Falsterbo and CDIO5* Hagen. At CDIO5* Falsterbo, the Nations Cup competiton wrapped up on Sunday with two U.S. combinations performing in the Grand Prix Freestyle. Catherine Haddad Staller (Wellington, Fla.) and Rowan O’Riley’s Mane Stream Hotmail, a 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding, scored 71.175% for 11th place, while Brian Hafner (Penngrove, Calif.) and LHF Lombardo, Rebecca Hafner and his own 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding, were 13th on 59.300%. The U.S. Team, also consisting of Susan Dutta (Wellington, Fla.) and Currency DC, Tim Dutta Inc.’s 15-year-old bay Oldenburg gelding, and Devon Kane (Wellington, Fla.) and Destiny, Diamante Farms' 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, finished in sixth place with a score of 206.422%. Sweden claimed top honors on their home turf, while The Netherlands was second and Germany was third.

At CDIO5* Hagen, Charlotte Jorst (Reno, Nev.) and Kastel's Nintendo were the lone U.S. combination on Sunday. In the CDIO5* Grand Prix Freestyle she and Kastel Denmark’s 12-year-old KWPN stallion were 13th with a score of 72.000%.
