The HorseTV Channel Presents June Programming Premieres

The HorseTV Channel recently announced its June premiere lineup featuring world-class competitions, breed documentaries and training and magazine series from the Western and English worlds.

“We focus on presenting family-friendly programming that is as diverse as our audience,” said Rachel Falleroni, Head of Programming for The HorseTV Channel. “Our viewers enjoy their favorite programs while also discovering new and intriguing elements of the horse world.”

The American Quarter Horse Association's (AQHA) Best of the West series in June features the 2006 Derby Open Finals and Non-Pro Finals from the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA). The series' world premieres begin Wednesday, June 7th and Wednesday, June 14th at 8 p.m., with encore performances on Thursdays at noon and Sundays at 3 p.m.

The HorseTV Channel presents the world premiere of the original series, Rodeo Nation Pushing the Barrier, featuring the action-packed PRCA Dodge Texas ProRodeo Circuit Finals on Sunday, June 11th and Sunday, June 18th at 8 p.m. with encore performances on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 p.m.

June's English programming features the U.S. premiere of the 2006 FEI World Cup Dressage Finals, held in Amsterdam last month, on Saturday, June 17th at 8 p.m. followed by an encore performance Sunday, June 18th at 10 p.m.

The special three-hour U.S. premiere of the prestigious Badminton Horse Trials 2005 begins at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 24th with an encore performance Tuesday, June 27th at 8 p.m. The following week, the U.S. premiere of the Badminton Horse Trials 2006, highlighting dressage, cross country and jumping debuts on Saturday, July 1st at 8 p.m. with an encore performance Sunday, July 2nd at 10 p.m.

The new monthly series, FEI Equestrian World, presents stories from all eight FEI disciplines as well as a news and results round-up. Viewers enjoy major international equestrian events, behind the scenes sneak peeks, and in-depth features opening the door to international sporting stories. The new series' U.S. premieres launch Fridays at 9 p.m. starting June 9th with encores on Thursdays at 7 p.m.

June network premieres feature the magazine series, The Complete Rider Thursdays at 9 p.m., HorseFlicks breed and ranch series Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. and AQHA’s America’s Horse series presenting equestrian sports and activities on Wednesday, June 7th at 9 and 9:30 p.m. and Wednesday, June 14th at 9 and 9:30 p.m.

The HorseTV Channel’s July preview keeps the focus on diverse, family-friendly programming with the Samsung Super League 2006, Hickstead Derby 2005 and 2006, the National High School Rodeo Association’s series premiere, Richard Winters Horsemanship and Ultimate Foundation Training with Charles Wilhelm.
