Dublin, Ireland - The United States has had a remarkable few weeks of show jumping success in Europe and Canada, as they have garnered Championship, Grand Prix, and Nations Cup successes at prestigious international competitions in Ontario, Canada, Mannheim, Germany, and Hickstead, England. Following on the heels of a victory in the 100th Nations Cup of Germany, the U.S. jumped to Team Bronze at the Pan American Games in Caledon, Ont. The following week, they impressed at Hickstead with a Bronze medal in the Nations Cup and a historical win in the Longines King George V Gold Cup Grand Prix. This week, the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team of Georgina Bloomberg, Lucy Davis, Charlie Jayne, and Todd Minikus will endeavor to repeat victory for the U.S. at CSIO5* Dublin, as the U.S. earned the prestigious Aga Khan Trophy with an impressive win in Nations Cup competition in 2014.

The U.S. has drawn fourth in the order of eight Nations. Davis brings longtime partner, Barron, an 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding owned by Old Oak Farm. Barron has paired with Davis to win numerous national and international competitions, including a Team Bronze medal at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Minikus and Two Swans Farm’s Babalou 41 will anchor the U.S. team in Dublin, having accomplished two fault-free rounds in Nations Cup competition last week at Hickstead.

Nations Cup competition will commence on Friday and can be watched on FEI TV beginning at 9:50 a.m. ET. Sunday’s highlighted class is the Longines International Grand Prix of Ireland.
