There are some Big Guns in town for the 2015 Las Vegas High Roller Reining Classic, both two and four-legged. The eight-year-old show, which runs this year from September 11th through the 20th at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Equestrian Center, is the crown jewel of the four major reining competitions presented annually by Brumley Management Group, and the fourth largest on the worldwide NRHA circuit. This stellar designation comes with a Brumley Management big nod of appreciation to the major sponsors that make this show possible and put up the half-million in cash and prizes that attract the world’s top horses and riders to Las Vegas each September.

Last year the HRRC was up 50% in entries from the previous year, utilizing 950 of the South Point Equestrian Center’s 1200 stall capacity. Every division in the show was up in entries, including the Youth group, buoyed by the appearance of Arabian and Half-Arabian reiners there to compete in the new Arabian Reining Breeders Classic divisions. Even the Arabians came from all over North America because The High Roller Reining Classic has become one of those rarified shows that attract horses from all over the U.S., Canada, South America and Europe.

In addition to featuring some of the finest, world class reining competition, the High Roller Reining Classic is one of the first shows to support World Para Reining class competition in this country and the fabulous Hudson-Valentine Longhorn Cattle Sale on Saturday evening, September 19th.  The 2015 event has also been awarded the coveted designation of Host for the 2015 Adequan/USEF Open Reining National Championship $25,000 Added, guaranteed to draw the best-of-the-best. If you cannot attend this international event, you can watch as the Las Vegas High Roller Reining Classic will be broadcast in its 10-day entirety on www.HorseShowGlobal.com, and the Adequan/USEF Open Reining will be simulcast with the USEF Network on Thursday evening, September 17th.

“My personal goal is to grow the sport of reining at every single level,” says Amanda Brumley, show manager. “The international competitors, their horses and the sponsors of the Las Vegas High Roller Classic make this event one-of-a-kind, and their encouragement, enthusiasm and honest support for the sport of reining make this great show possible.”
