As part of its effort to expand the USEF Dressage Developing Program, the USEF High Performance Dressage Committee has elected to appoint a USEF Dressage Developing Coach(s) for the remainder of 2006 through December 31, 2007, and is seeking qualified candidates to fill this position. The primary responsibilities for a developing coach will be to increase awareness and visibility of the USEF dressage developing program; further the education of riders, trainers and owners about specific aspects of proper training for equine athletes competing at the high-performance level; conduct training sessions; attend championships to observe and coach competitors; and work in close cooperation with the U.S. team coach, the director of high-performance dressage and the USEF dressage committees to identify prospects for further training and observation, continue development of the developing program, and synchronize the approach and coordinate the direction of high-performance coaching.
Interested parties must submit an application and resume to the USEF's Director of High-Performance Dressage no later than June 19, 2006. All applications will be reviewed by the USEF dressage committees and U.S. team coach.
