The “Zack Attack” Prevails AEGT Week 6

by American Equestrians Got Talent | Feb 19, 2016, 9:45 PM

The 10 year old Zackary Duckworth, nicknamed in the second week of AEGT auditions the Zack “Attack,” prevailed this evening’s competition by a tenth of a point on the applause meter at the White Horse Fashion Cuisine in Wellington

Zack sung an acapella compilation of his favorite Nirvana songs in the Finale round to win the audience’s approval over two other dynamite performances. The other top acts for the Finale tonight included Salsa Dancers Fernando and Tasha performing two very seductive and expressive routines. The last act to perform in the first round was one member of the group “Grown But Young.” Michael Howard performed solo in round one a song that he dedicated to the coaches who recently passed away at his High School in Wellington. His voice and emotional rendition of his song brought him back to the second round, where he was joined by the rest of the group. The energized performers sang an original song with back ground dancers.

Join us for next week’s audition night, Wednesday, February 24 at 7:45 PM where we will see both a singer and a novelty act both obtain a ‘winning’ pass to make it into the Finale. The last two audition weeks (Tuesday, March 1 and Wednesday, March 9) singers may perform to obtain one of Robert’s Wild Card positions to compete in the Finale, but a non-singing act will only be allowed to win the audition night. Non-singing acts will include dancers, comedy acts, baton twirlers, groups and other acts other than a single singer competing.

Tickets are now on sale for the Finale, to be held Sunday, March 20 at the Global Dressage Facility International arena. Tickets and tables are available in the VIP tent, and bleacher seating is also available for purchase both in advance
