The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) would like to advise all members that a false notice has recently been circulated alleging restrictions on showing Arabian, Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabians within the hunter division.
The false statement gives the impression that horses with 75% or more Arabian blood are not allowed to compete in open hunter classes. Please be advised that this is not accurate and that open hunter classes in USEF licensed competitions continue to be open to all breeds of horses.
The Federation has notified the Arabian Horse Association (AHA) and the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) of this deceptive notice.
The USEF and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) are in no way associated with this inaccurate reporting. Any questions regarding this matter should be directed to Jennifer Holman at the USEF Lexington office at (859-225-6951).
