The Pennsylvania National Horse Show is one of the largest and most prestigious horse shows in the country. Home to eight national championships - including the Pessoa/US Hunter Seat Medal Final and the Neue Schule/USEF National Junior Jumper Individual and Team Championships - the horse show is the launching ground for many future Olympians. With ten days of competition, 15,000 spectators, 1,400 competitors and more than 1,000,000 live feed viewers, the event showcases the best the sport has to offer.
"Adding the U25 division to our great show is an extremely important step for the future of show jumping and especially for our event. These are the riders of the future who want to gain this valuable experience and we are excited to offer this program at Harrisburg for the first time," said Peter Doubleday, Co-Manager of the Horse Show.
"We are excited to add this popular division to the Pennsylvania National Horse Show. This helps us continue our commitment to being the leader of the indoor circuit schedule and maintaining our status as the 'Horseman's Show,'" said Tom Bross, Chair of the Pennsylvania National Horse Show Board of Directors.
In addition to featuring world-class horse show competition, the Pennsylvania National Horse Show is also the site of great shopping with 70 vendors featuring clothing, antiques, art work, jewelry and equestrian products. Proceeds from the horse show benefit community equine and youth programs through the Pennsylvania National Horse Show Foundation.
Make plans to join the excitement at the 2016 Pennsylvania National Horse Show, October 13-22 at the Farm Show Arena in Harrisburg, PA to help launch the next decade of horse showing at one of the country's largest indoor shows. To learn more about this year's show, please visit www.PAnational.org.
