Piazza Di Siena - Sun, Roses, and A Touch of Class

- When it rains at this time of year in the Italian capital city, the people of Rome just nod and say “ah, yes, it must be time for Piazza di Siena!”, because when the world-famous horse show took place at the end of April it was often dogged by bad weather. Even since it was moved to the end of May the sun has often stayed away, but not this time around.

The sun is out, the flowers are blooming all across the beautiful gardens of the Villa Borghese, and the horses and riders are relishing the conditions as they prepare for four fantastic days of competition in this elegant public park.
