“All nine American combinations had excellent warm-ups today and we are excited to get underway with the Nations Cup tomorrow, and the CDI3* Grand Prix on Friday,” said Dover. “Naturally, we are hopeful for a top result in the Nations Cup, but since this is our final Observation Event for the Olympic Games, we are equally optimistic for our athletes in the CDI3*. It is wonderful to have such a wonderful group of riders, all of whom are great friends and truly cheering each other on!”
The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team
The U.S. has drawn second in the order of seven teams and will compete in the Thursday’s Grand Prix in the following order:
Shelly Francis (Loxahatchee, Fla.) with Patricia Stempel’s Doktor, a 2003 Oldenburg gelding
Kasey Perry-Glass (Orangevale, Calif.) with Diane Perry’s Goerklintgaards Dublet, a 2003 Danish Warmblood gelding
Steffen Peters (San Diego, Calif.) with Four Winds Farm’s Legolas 92, a 2002 Westphalian gelding
Laura Graves (Geneva, Fla.) and her own Verdades, a 2002 KWPN gelding
CDIO5* competition will conclude on Saturday with the Grand Prix Special and Freestyle. Graves and Perry-Glass will contest the Special, while Francis and Peters will represent the U.S. in the Freestyle.
CDI3*
The Horse Inspection for the CDI3* will take place on Thursday. Competition will begin with the Grand Prix on Friday and continue on Saturday with the Grand Prix Special and Freestyle.

Arlene “Tuny” Page (Wellington, Fla.) and her own Woodstock, a 2003 KWPN gelding
Steffen Peters (San Diego, Calif.) with Four Winds Farm’s Rosamunde, a 2007 Rheinlander mare
Guenter Seidel (Cardiff, Calif.) with James and Charlotte Mashburn's Zero Gravity, a 2004 Dutch Warmblood gelding

The U.S. will also be represented at CHIO Rotterdam by the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team in Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup competition. This competition will serve as the final of four designated observation events for determining the 2016 U.S. Olympic Show Jumping Team.
