Lexington, Ky. - Two teams of talented U.S. show jumping athletes will take on Nations Cup competition at CSIO5* Hickstead in West Sussex, England, and CSIO3* Samorin in Samorin, Slovakia, on Friday. At CSIO5* Hickstead, Chef d’Equipe Robert Ridland will guide the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team of Katie Dinan, Lauren Hough, Lillie Keenan, and Paris Sellon. The Hickstead team has drawn fourth in the order of eight nations. At CSIO3* Samorin, Chef d'Equipe DiAnn Langer will lead the team of Jamie Barge, Lisa Goldman, Brittni Raflowitz, and Chloe Reid, who are participants in the USEF Show Jumping Development Tour. The Samorin team has drawn fifth in the order of 14 teams.

CSIO5* Hickstead

Keenan (New York, N.Y.) will be the pathfinder for the U.S. aboard Chasonette Farm LLC’s Super Sox, a 2006 Hanoverian gelding. She made her Nations Cup debut in 2014, helping a U.S. team of rising stars finish fourth in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ at CSIO3* Bratislava. Keenan and Super Sox have had two top-three Grand Prix finishes this year in the $380,000 Douglas Elliman Grand Prix CSI5* during week 12 of the Winter Equestrian Festival and at CSI2* Bonheiden.

Sellon (Los Angeles, Calif.) will ride second for the U.S. on Willow Grace Farms’ Adare, a 2005 Dutch Warmblood mare. Sellon is appearing on her second Nations Cup team, having debuted with Keenan on the 2014 CSIO3* Bratislava team. Sellon and Adare were fourth in the $200,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping at the CP Wellington Masters, presented by Sovaro™ earlier this year and have had solid results in Europe during the summer.

Dinan (Wellington, Fla.) will follow Sellon, riding Grant Road Partners LLC’s Dougie Douglas, a 2005 Irish Sport gelding. She helped the U.S. claim Team Gold at the 2014 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ presented by Longines at CSIO5* Dublin and hopes to find success once again at Hickstead. Most recently, Dinan was third in the $50,000 Old Salem Farm CSI2* Grand Prix, presented by The Kincade Group at the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Show I.

Seasoned competitor Hough (Wellington, Fla.) will anchor the team with Willow Grace Farms’ Cornet 39, a 2004 Oldenburg gelding. She has seen much Nations Cup success this year, winning Team Gold at CSIO4* Ocala and Team Silver at CSIO5* La Baule and tying for Team Silver at CSIO5* St. Gallen. Hough and Cornet 39 partnered together for CSIO4* Ocala and aim to find the same success at Hickstead.

The Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ presented by Longines will begin at 9:15 a.m. EST and can be viewed on FEI TV.

CSIO3* Samorin

Goldman (Hawthorn Woods, Ill.) will lead off for the U.S. She has scored top placings with Hindsight, her own 2007 Holsteiner gelding. This year, the pair has earned top-ten placings in CSI2* and CSI3* competition at Knokke, as well as a first-place finish in CSIO4* competition at Wellington.

Next, Raflowitz (Palm City, Fla.) will ride Hope Van’t Zorgvliet, a nine-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding she co-owns with ESI Show Jumpers. The pair earned a top-10 finish in March at the CSI5* in Wellington, Fla.

Barge (Malibu, Calif.) will ride third for the U.S. with Luebbo, an 11-year-old Oldenburg Springpferd gelding owned by Kylie Co. In April, the pair finished in the top 10 in Grand Prix at CSI3* Oliva in Valencia, Spain, and finished second in the $100,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Thermal earlier this year.

Reid (Washington, D.C.) will round out the U.S. effort aboard TNT Explosive, a nine-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Live Oak Plantation, LLC. They finished in the top 10 in CSI2* II and CSI3* competition at Knokke and in CSIO5* competition at St. Gallen.

The CSIO3* Nations Cup will take place Friday at 9:30 a.m. EST. The Nations Cup will be live streamed at www.equestrianfestivalsamorin.sk/en/livestream.
