The HorseTV Channel Unveils August Premieres

The HorseTV Channel’s August premieres feature diverse selections, including the revealing new international series, Spirit of the Equestrian, and the final PRCA rodeo in the network’s original series, Rodeo Nation: Pushing The Barrier.

“Viewers will enjoy a much needed break from the summer heat at The HorseTV Channel this August as we introduce intriguing new series and experience the captivating conclusion to others,” said Rachel Falleroni, head of programming for The HorseTV Channel.

Spirit of the Equestrian is a compelling new series presenting major international equestrian events in addition to incredibly insightful interviews with some of the world’s most famous riders who represent the highest echelon in their respective disciplines. The U.S. premiere of the four-part series debuts Fridays at 8 p.m. beginning August 5 with encores Saturdays at 12:30 p.m.

Tune in on August 6 and 7 for the thrills and spills of calf roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling and more during the world premiere of Rodeo Nation: Pushing The Barrier – 20X Rodeo High. Subsequent world premieres air on Sundays and Mondays at 8 p.m. with replays on Mondays and Tuesdays at noon.

Don’t miss the world premiere finale of The HorseTV Channel’s original series, Rodeo Nation: Pushing The Barrier featuring the PRCA Dodge California ProRodeo Circuit Finals on August 6 and August 13 at 9 p.m. See both episodes again on August 20 and 21 at 9 p.m.

English competition heats up this month at The HorseTV Channel with the U.S. premieres of the Samsung Super League 2006 presenting eight competitions, including Lucerne, Rotterdam and Hickstead. Front row seats await viewers on Fridays at 8 p.m. with encore performances on Saturdays at 9 a.m.

The world premieres of the two-hour AQHA’s Best of the West series continue in its second season on The HorseTV Channel, featuring the USEF Reining Championships on August 16 and the NCHA Summer Spectacular 2006 Open Finals on August 23 and Non-Pro Finals on August 30. Network premieres of classic America’s Horse episodes discussing everything from tips on equine health care, riding and management to news from the American Quarter Horse Industry air in the second hour of the series.

FEI Equestrian World, featuring stories from all eight FEI disciplines and The Complete Rider, providing an in-depth look at a variety of equine programs, personalities and legends, continue in premieres this month. Enjoy the U.S. premiere of FEI Equestrian World on Fridays at 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. and the network premiere of The Complete Rider on Thursdays at 9 p.m.
