USEF Apparel Collection by Ariat Launches in Europe at FEI World Equestrian Games

Ariat International, Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of English and Western riding boots and apparel, will debut its newest collection of technologically advanced apparel to the world when it launches its USEF Apparel Collection at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) beginning August 20 in Aachen, Germany.

Ariat’s USEF Apparel Collection includes Shadbelly and Pinque coats, polo shirts, button-down oxford shirts, lightweight wind and water-resistant jackets, waterproof jackets, ball caps, and gear and laptop bags. Each of the items will feature the official United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) red, white and blue colors and will also incorporate the U.S.A. and Ariat logos.

“We are proud to outfit the top equestrian athletes in the country with our performance apparel, which incorporates fabric and climate-control technology designed to provide riders with maximum comfort, freedom of movement and breathability to perform at their best,” said Beth Cross, Ariat’s founder and Chief Executive Officer. “We believe our apparel will give these athletes an important competitive edge as they compete with the world’s best.”

Known for its excellence in performance and innovative apparel designs, Ariat was honored in being selected as the “Official Apparel Supplier” of USEF, the National Governing Body for Equestrian Sport. The USEF high- performance teams and staff will wear the Ariat apparel collection at all sanctioned competitions beginning at the FEI World Equestrian Games.

In addition to the debut of the USEF apparel collection, Ariat proudly announces the members of the Ariat Performance Team, representing seven countries, who are competing at the WEG: Great Britain - Zara Phillips (eventing), Mary King (reserve - eventing) and Maria Eilberg (dressage); Australia - Rod Brown (show jumping), Shane Rose (eventing) and Heath Ryan (dressage); Denmark - Thomas Velin (show jumping); Germany - Ludger Beerbaum (show jumping), Marianne Hahnel (endurance), Nico Hormann (reining); Ireland - Michael Ryan (eventing); The Netherlands - Jos Lansink (show jumping) and Rieky Young (reining).
