Three new series and continued world premiere coverage of the FEI World Equestrian Games 2006 lead The HorseTV Channel’s October premiere program lineup. “As we approach the one year anniversary of our launch, it’s rewarding to review the evolution of our programming,” said Rachel Falleroni, Head of Programming for The HorseTV Channel. “With three new series introductions this month, we continue to expand and diversify our programming to meet the wide-ranging interests of our viewers.”

Kids of all ages will enjoy the new animated series Kleo The Misfit Unicorn, featuring Kleo, a misfit unicorn, who teaches others along with the help of her friends in Misfitland to celebrate each person’s differences and unique contributions to the world around them. The U.S. premiere of Kleo The Misfit Unicorn airs on Sunday, October 1, at 10 a.m.

Fans of the “sport of kings” shouldn’t miss the U.S. premiere of Race Country, a new weekly series providing a window into the lives of the residents of Lambourn, a beautiful English village in the racehorse valley where most everyone lives and works entirely within the horseracing world. Race Country debuts on Friday, October 13, at 8 p.m.

The U.S. premiere of the new five-part series, Irish Horse Board International Eventing 2006, headlines English competition this month, debuting on October 5, at 8 p.m., with subsequent premieres every Thursday through November 2. Viewers may see episodes again on Sundays at 1 p.m. Don’t miss the U.S. premiere of the prestigious Samsung Super League 2006 series finale in Barcelona on October 6 at 8 p.m.

Free Rein: FEI World Equestrian Games 2006 continues in world premieres this October featuring the world’s top horse-and-rider combinations competing in all seven disciplines at the ultimate equestrian competition in the world. WEG is held every four years and is rarely ever broadcast outside of the European host country, making The HorseTV Channel’s coverage of the entire two weeks of the Games the most comprehensive in United States history. The series airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. with encore performances on Saturdays at 9 p.m.

World premieres of the two-hour AQHA’s Best of the West series features the Bayer Select World Show from Amarillo on October 11 and October 18, and the 2006 National Reined Cow Horse Association’s Snaffle Bit Futurity – Open Competition on October 25 at 8 p.m. Network premieres of classic America’s Horse episodes discussing everything from tips on equine health care, riding and management to news from the American Quarter Horse industry air in the second hour of the series.

FEI Equestrian World, the monthly magazine series featuring stories from all eight disciplines also provides news, results and behind-the-scenes views into the international equestrian world. The U.S. premiere episode airs on Friday, October 6, at 9 p.m.
