In cooperation with the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA), Morgan Horse magazine, WdA Video and Hawk Multimedia, organizers of the 2006 Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show are proud to announce their plan to bring this year’s premier Morgan horse show live to you via the World Wide Web.
The one horse show that annually celebrates the best of the Morgan breed will be available online through a pay-per-view service at www.morgangrandnational.com or www.morganhorse.com from October 7-14. Further details and complete ordering information will be available within the next few days.
“We are very excited to offer this year’s show live on the Internet,” said Show Chair Elaine Galatz. “This will give friends and family at home the opportunity to share in the excitement and fun of the Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma City.”
All sessions and classes held in the Main Coliseum and the Barn 6 Arena will be available for pay-per-view beginning Saturday, October 7, and continue through Saturday, October 14. The service will be available for $7.95 per day from Saturday to Wednesday, and $9.95 per day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A package discount will be available at $49.95 for the entire show or $19.95 for the final three days.
Competition begins Saturday, October 7th with three shows daily through Saturday, October 14th. Show times will be at 9 a.m., 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. daily. Admission is free throughout the week with a nominal charge for weekend performances, and tickets for the event can be purchased at the door.
Appropriate computer equipment and Internet bandwidth will be required. With broadband, DSL or a cable modem, customers should be able to receive a very clear picture with excellent audio. Dial-up connections, however, are usually not suitable for receiving video streaming.
